A little, sweet side project. An illustrated children’s book series that sparks every child’s curiosity.

From the moment my daughter Cecilia was born, I’ve wanted to inspire her to travel the world, to discover its beauty and the diversity that makes it unique. After some iterations, Ceci Globetrotter was born, too.

Across 40 vibrant, detail-filled pages, Ceci Globetrotter invites young readers on an adventure through distant cultures, animals, and flavors, fostering imagination and a love of diversity. Each book shows a Country. Each spread encourages kids to look closely, ask questions, and dream about the next stop on the map. Perfect for reading together, this first volume launches a series that will grow book by book, just like the desire to explore our world. Illustrated by Maya Perotti, and written by me and Elsa Tomassetti – Ceci’s mom.

Ceci travels the world with her little floating friend Orld – a globe who acts like an older, wiser brother. Sometimes, though, he’s the one who gets into trouble…

In each Country they explore some of the key aspects: how people look, local foods, sports, nature, animals, landmarks, and more. All in a lighthearted, fun way, just as things are when experienced through a child’s eyes.

The structure of each book is designed to create familiarity and make reading easy. The second-to-last page, for example, always provides a summary of what Ceci and Orld have experienced and whom they have met on their journey, helping children recall the story and making it truly memorable.

When the journey comes to an end, it’s time to go back home. But worry not… Ceci’s room will be filled with many memories: photographs, tiny Easter eggs, and even stuffed animals!
